The seventh World FIRA was quite different from previous events. We decided to pack our wheels and to bring the robots where they are needed: in the fields. And what an event it was… After 2 years of online events, 2,000 attendees came to the field for a live demonstration of the latest autonomous agricultural solutions working with cultivated crops in real-life conditions.
Co-organized by GOFAR, the FRCUMA Occitanie, Cité des Sciences Vertes, ENSAT and ENSFEA, this new event, held in a brand-new location, reflected today’s AgRobotics industry: ready for the fields. World FIRA 2023 brought together specialty crop growers, robot manufacturers, large manufacturers, academics, tech experts, startups and investors for three days of problem-solving, decision-making and planning.
It was THE place to be! A chance to see new solutions emerge: the new robots from PixelFarming Robotics, Pek Automotive, Exxact Robotics and Nanovel, a first demo for the new robot Jo by Naïo Technologies, as well as new technology solutions from Sick, SMC France, Geodnet… In short, it was an event that was not to be missed!
